He did, however, have a strong faith in God. He was confident that God would assist him. He was also a very straightforward individual. Despite having spent a long time on the farm, he knew how to write. As a result, he wrote a letter to God. He asked God to send him one hundred pesos in the letter. He then went to the post office and deposited his letter in the post box.
The letter was removed from the letterbox by the postman. He laughed as he read the address on it. He also rushed to the postmaster and showed him the strange letter. Furthermore, when he saw God's address, the postmaster laughed as well. He became very serious after reading the letter. He praised this man for his unwavering faith in God and decided to assist him financially. He asked the post office employees to donate to charity. He also contributed a portion of his salary. However, they were only able to collect slightly more than 50 pesos, as requested by Lencho. The money was placed in an envelope by the postmaster. It was written to Lencho.
